Heisey Dolphin / Fish Vase

Dancing upon his tail atop the waves, this figural Dolphin is a fabulous piece of vintage glassware. Designed by Royal Hickman and produced by Heisey, I am pleased to be offering this hard to find #1550 Dolphin vase / bowl. Commonly just called "Fish" and dating from 1941 to 1946, this piece is approximately 9 1/2" in height, 8 1/2" in length and is hallmarked on the base with the Heisey "Diamond H". And you can rest assured, this is a genuine Heisey piece as this particular item has not been reproduced. Normal for the time period, there are straw marks and an occasional bubble or two, but there are NO chips, nicks, cracks or discoloration. Heavy, Substantial and Exceptional!
