This gorgeous little hard~to~find item is the #1509 Queen Ann dolphin footed marmalade with slotted cover. It is embellished with the #501 Belle~Le~Rose etching, which is also not seen very often, and was produced by Heisey from 1938 to 1942. With the lid seated, the piece measures 5 1/4" in height and 4 7/8" in diameter. There is a wide optic which can be felt on the inside of the marmalade, but is not seen from the outside. Along with the delicate floral etching, the piece features the signature "fan" designs at the rims, a slotted or notched cover and lovely dolphin styled feet. This marmalade is in fabulous condition.
