This lovely china was Made In Japan by Harmony House and was sold at Sears from 1954 to 1960. The pattern name is "Wembley" and it features delicate floral sprays set against a cream background with a reddish, rust~colored border. The inner surfaces of the pieces are white and all are enhanced by gold accented rims. With the exception of one cup and one saucer, you will be receiving service for 8, along with 4 serving pieces. The 50 piece set consists of 8 Dinner Plates, 8 Soup Bowls, 8 Bread & Butter Plates, 8 Fruit / Dessert Bowls, 7 Cups, 7 Saucers, 1 Large Oval Platter, 1 Oval Serving Bowl, 1 Lidded Sugar and 1 Creamer. The platter does have a chip on the underside rim, not visible when seated, but the remainder of the pieces are in excellent condition with very little evidence of usage or wear, even to the gold rims. If this set was used at all, it was used lovingly and sparingly. I have included several pictures, but if you would like additional information or pictures, please do not hesitate to ask.
