$45 ~ Two Pieces
This pretty pattern is known by several names: Alfa, Boylan, Euclid and Rexford. It was originally produced by J.B. Higbee Glass Company circa 1908 and later by New Martinsville Glass around 1915.
I am offering these two pieces together so that not only will you have a lovely stand to display your cake, you'll also have a beautiful plate to serve it.
The cake stand is 9 1/2" in diameter and 5" in height. It has a slightly scalloped rim and "starred" foot.
The plate is basically square shaped and is 10 1/2" across the center. It has a saw~tooth rim with a fan at the middle of each side, almost creating a handle type protrusion. The plate has a tiny nibble on the underside of one of the rim teeth. Other than that minor flaw, both pieces are in beautiful condition. The glass is extremely bright and clear and just sparkles in a lighted display.
