Royal Doulton The Red Queen Character Jug

From one of my favorite childhood stories, Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures In Wonderland", I present the infamous Red Queen.

This whimsical character jug, designed by William K. Harper, was issued from 1990 to 1991, and was the first of the Alice In Wonderland series.

In excellent condition and measuring 4 1/2" at the peak of her crown, the Red Queen is hallmarked as shown and bears the Doulton Number D6859. Really a great jug!
