These Hazel Atlas NEWPORT (also known as Hairpin) 8.5" cobalt blue luncheon plates are all in very good condition; some minor manufacturing bumps or indentations might be present and the usual slightly cloudy center, but no cracks, chips, scratches, etc. This pattern was made from 1938-1940. This 8.5" Hazel Atlas NEWPORT Hairpin Luncheon Plate in amethyst is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or meaningful scratches. The luncheon plate is almost the size of the dinner plate and can be used as such. This pattern was made from 1938-1940. The second picture shows the plate in cobalt to show the pattern more clearly.
