This vintage porcelain cat is 10" high and 5" wide, hollow and in excellent condition. No markings.
These Fostoria FAIRFAX Green footed After-Dinner (Demitasse) Cup and Saucer sets are in excellent condition (no flaws noted). Cup is 2.75" high and holds 2.5 oz; saucer with indent is 4.75" wide. Fostoria made Fairfax from 1933-1960, mostly in crystal, amber, azure blue, rose pink, green, orchid, and topaz yellow.
This hardcover edition of "The Cambridge Glass Co. Cambridge Ohio 1949-1953" identification guide compiled by the Cambridge Collectors Club is in very good condition; some shelf wear on the cover but no marks, rips, etc. Includes value insert for 1986; better as an identification guide rather than a value guide. Includes many of the etched lines, engraved lines, sets, novelties, stemware lines, etc. Important Cambridge Glass resource book.
This black ceramic Scottie Dog planter (c 1950s) is in excellent condition. There is a small scuff on his rump, a "touch up" where it is a bit rough (about 1/4" in size) over one eye, and a small amount of shelf wear on the bottom. Measures 6" wide and 7 1/2" tall.
This Fire King Sapphire Blue (Philbe) 9 1/8" by 5 1/8" (deep version) Bread Loaf Pan is in excellent condition; it has a very few minor flea bites on the inner rim that you can feel but not really see. It also has the usual stray marks (from manufacturing) associated with this pattern. Marked Fire-King on the bottom, dating it between 1942-1945.
These Cambridge Caprice #21 6.5" Bread and Butter Plates in Moonlight Blue are in excellent condition; no chips or cracks, might be a few scratches or stacking marks, but no significant use. Priced under book value. Cambridge made Caprice from 1936-1957; it is their blank #3550. We also have an extra one with a flat rim chip on one of the scallops that is hard to spot unless you're looking for it; yours free when you order any of the others if you want it (email me)...
These Gold Krystol (yellow) Cambridge Glass 6" #3400/53 Cereal Bowls are both are in excellent condition, no flaws noted and marked with the C in a triangle (pre 1935). Very hard to find in this size.
Glass From The Past
These Cambridge #3400/54 Cup and Saucer sets in yellow (called Gold Krystol) are all in excellent condition; there are 2 extra cups available @ $5 each and a cream soup underplate available @ $5 (see pictures 2 and 3; can be used as a saucer but is a tad larger; the cup and saucer set pictured in 3 uses the cream soup plate so you can see how it looks with the cup). All pieces are marked with the C in a triangle, pre 1935...
These 3.5" 5 oz Hazel Atlas NEW CENTURY amethyst Juice Tumblers are in excellent condition, no flaws noted. This pattern was made from 1930-1935.
We have 2 Anchor Hocking Fire-King Fruits pattern 7 3/16" wide mixing bowls, both in very good condition, no chips or cracks. They have four fruits (pear, peach, grapes, cherries); on one, the cherries and grapes are faded ($7) (see pictures 3 and 4), on the other, there is no fading ($8). Might also be minor wear or use marks, but nothing significant; marked Fire King Ware (mid to late 1940s). Painted by Gay Fad Studios for Fire-King...
These Fostoria Fairfax (#2365) 8.6" luncheon plates are large enough to be used as dinner plates today. They are all in excellent, unused condition, no chips or cracks, a few have some very light or occasional stacking marks from storage. The lighting made these look slightly greenish in the pictures to me, but they're the azure blue of Fostoria. Book value $14-$16 each. Fostoria made Fairfax from 1933-1960, mostly in crystal, amber, azure blue, rose pink, green, orchid, and topaz yellow.
These yellow (topaz) Fostoria Fairfax 6.5 oz. Cup/Saucer sets are in excellent condition; this is the footed version (#2375 1/2) of the cup with the 5.75" saucer. Fostoria Glass Company made the Fairfax pattern from 1933-1960.
These Fostoria FAIRFAX (#2375) regular sized footed cup and saucer sets in azure blue are all in excellent condition; no chips or cracks. One cup has a slight manufacturing flaw on the rim; if you look at it under the jewler's loupe, you can see a tiny bit of coal (not seen with the eye) and 2 very short lines. These 9 1/2" oval Hazel Atlas (Hazelware) Capri blue (Colony shape) bowls are in excellent condition, no flaws noted. 1 1/2" high. Hazelware made Capri in the 1960s.
