Fostoria Glass Flower Frog Box, Ebony Black

This is a beautiful Fostoria Glass ebony black flower frog box, c. 1920s and 30s. It's in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, etc. The lid is professionally ground and polished on one end; both flower boxes I have are like this, so I believe this was done in manufacturing to remove excess glass or to adjust the size after the top came out of the mold; the top isn't too short for the bottom of the box. The glass is so polished, it doesn't look like it was done later on. There are pads on the 2 feet and 14 holes on the removable top. Measures 7 1/2" long, 2 1/2" wide, and 3 1/2" high.
