Gregorian Copper Hammered Basket Unusual

This is an unusual vintage hammered copper basket. The basket appears to be solid copper. I have not polished it in several years but it does shine up nicely. It has a twisted rope handle. The basket was acquired at an estate sale.
It is marked "Gregorian Copper" 7 "19" on the bottom. The basket is in nice vintage condition overall.
The basket is approximately 10" by 9" wide. It is 3 1/2" tall not counting the handle.
