French Artist Rene' Raffray, Two Signed Etchings

"Dans la Vallee" and Vieille Auberge" two French scenes by Rene' Raffray. These two works bear the identification mark of "SZL" (for Sydney Z. Lucas Studio) within a triangle. Both are signed "Raffray" in pencil. Also printed at the top, "Copyright 1936 Camilla Lucas, NY, USA." Both prints have been identified as "aquatint" and appraised by an art expert. I have taken her suggestion of selling them as a set into consideration. Professionally framed by Hudson's, Detroit, they are in their original frames. While the colors are somewhat faded they remain beautiful and restful to the eye and make a wonderful addition to that art wall in your home or office.
