This bridal dress was made in the 1960's for a bridal shop miniature scene. The dress is a replica of a typical brides dress of the 19th century with mutton leg sleeves and the loose full bustle being popular in the latter half of the century. The mannequin stands 5 1/2" tall.
I believe this doll was originally designed in the 1950's as a wedding cake topper. At 6" it is a bit tall for 1" scale, however, it worked very well in the bridal shop miniature setting that was its original home. Excellent condition.
This older rubber doll has been re-painted and dressed by Joanne. Just 1 5/8" tall this blond blue eyed cutie is dressed in her sunsuit and ready to play.
