Rare coin silver child’s porringer made by Caleb Beal of Hingham, Massachusetts (c. 1775), 4 1/16" diameter at rim, 2 3/4 at base, 1 3/4" deep, everted rim, keyhole handle with feather script monogram "ER" on front, clearly marked on back of handle "BEAL" in conforming rectangular punch.

Coin silver gravy ladle by Abraham Gerritze Forbes, New York City (c. 1785-1795), 8-7/8” long, deep 2-¼” circular bowl, downturned oval end handle, beautiful diamond cut bright cut design on edges of handle and making oval cartouche at end with unusual three-masted sailing ship crest under banner “SPERO MELIORA” (I hope for better things), marked in script “A.Forbes” in serrated shaped cartouche.
