A rare set of six beautiful large goblets by William Adams, New York City (c.1831-1842), 6-1/2" tall, 3-5/8" diameter at rim, 3-1/16" diameter at base, domed circular base with beading around edge and repousse vine decoration, large 4" bowl with everted rim with applied reeded band and repousse flower and vine decoration making cartouche on front, script monogram "Adams" in cartouche, marked inside stem "W. ADAMS" and "NEW.YORK" (pellet raised), each in serrated rectangular punch.
