Pair of coin silver salts, John Kitts, Louisville, Kentucky (c. 1845-1855), 3-1/4" long by 2-1/2" wide (2-13/16" by 2-1/8" at lip), gadrooned lip and flowers and vines around body, four cast legs with wide shell terminals and stepped pad feet, cartouche on each side of body, one with script monogram "Taylor", marked underneath "KITTS" in rectangular punch with small oval punch on each side and "PURE COIN" incuse.
