Rare creamer by William Braisted Heyer, New York City (c. 1815) and retailed by Hyers & Nevins, jewelers in NYC (c. 1812-1819), 5-7/16" tall to top of lip, 6-1/2" long from lip to end of handle, oval stepped pedestal base on four cast four-toed paw feet with leaf terminals, 1/2" applied scroll band around edge of foot, short pedestal to bulbous oval body with script monogram "SC" on one side and later "1835" inscription on other side, applied 7/8" wide band around throat showing woman holding milk pail next to cow, man holding staff with pack of dogs, house among trees and other pictures (some rubbing), thin pouring spout with thin applied band of acanthus leafs around rim, heavy cast handle with thick leaves at bottom and smaller at rim, marked underneath "W.B. HEYER" and "H&N", each in rectangular punch around center point.
