Coin silver water pitcher made by Lincoln & Reed of Boston, Massachusetts (c. 1835), 13" tall to top of handle, 11 1/2" tall to top of lip, thin baluster-shaped body on 4 1/4" wide circular stepped foot, short neck to thin pouring spout with large beading around rim, applied bands around neck and foot, repousse decoration over body with large acanthus leaves vertically on bottom and leaves and badge-shaped cartouche on upper body, script presentation in cartouche "C.A. Chase(l)? /From her Father / Jan. 1st 1847", C-shaped hollow handle with thumb grip, marked underneath "LINCOLN & REED" “BOSTON" and "Pure Silver Coin", each in a rectangular punch.
