Coin silver tea set by Cornelius A. Burr, Rochester, New York (c. 1838-1850):
Teapot: 10 1/4" to top of finial, on 8-lobed pedistal foot, lobed pear-shaped body with large bright cut and repousse grape vine cartouche on each side, one with script monogram "J.Chappell" in center, hinged high lobed domed cover with melon vine finial, S-scroll spout with applied acanthus leaf at base, S-scroll handle with ivory insulators and leaf thumb grip, marked "C.A.BURR" incuse underneith.
Sugar Bowl: 8 5/8" to top of finial, removable top, same maker's mark and monogram as teapot.
Creamer: 7 7/8" tall to top of finial, same maker's mark and monogram as teapot.
