Coin silver water pitcher, Jones Shreve Brown & Co., Boston (c.1854), 10" tall to top of handle, 8-1/2" to top of lip, 4-5/16" diameter of base, pear-shaped body with large beading around lip, thin arching pouring spout, hollow S-shaped handle, no monogram, stepped pedestal foot, marked underneath JONES, SHREVE, BROWN & CO." incuse on one side of center point and "PURE COIN" and "BOSTON" in rectangular punches on the other side, while many larger pitchers weigh too much when full, this pitcher is the perfect size for actual use.
