BRIGHT CUT SUGAR TONGS, George Aiken, Baltimore

Coin silver sugar tongs, George Aiken, Baltimore, Maryland (c.1787-1800), 6-1/8" long, plain acorn nips, straight sides narrow just before bend, beautiful diamond cut bright cut down entire sides of arms and around edge of bend with elaborate cartouche with feather script monogram "HRH" inside, marked "G. Aiken" (script) on each arm (somewhat difficult to read).
