Rare coin silver sugar tongs, Thomas McConnell, Wilmington, Delaware and Richmond, Virginia (c.1790-1800), 6" long, horizontal oval nips, straight tapered sides with diamond cut bright cut design down arms and around bend, fancy feather script monogram "THA" in diamond cut oval cartouche, marked on one arm "McCONNELL" with a period under the small C in a rectangular punch (see mark in Belden).
