Coin silver three-piece tea set, John McMullin, Philadelphia (c. 1810-1820):
Teapot: 9" tall to top of finial, 11-1/4" long from spout to handle, 3-7/8" by 4-3/4" rounded rectangular base, stepped pedestal base to rectangular-shaped body, matching small gadrooned bands around base, throat and rim, S-shaped spout, hinged rounded rectangular domed cover with rectangular domed finial, reeded wooden flat-topped C-shaped handle, no monogram, marked underneath "I.McMullen" in rectangular punch with eagle punch.
Sugar Bowl: 7-7/8" tall to top of finial, 7-5/8" long across handles, 3-1/2" by 4-1/2" rounded rectangular base, same basic shape as teapot except cover is not hinged and there are two reeded strap handles on opposite sides of body, same matching bands around rim and base and same maker's mark.
Creamer: 6-3/8" tall to top of handle, 5-1/4" tall to top of lip, 2-3/8" by 3-1/8" rounded rectangular base, body same as teapot with same matching applied bands, wide pouring spout, handle matches the handles the on sugar bowl, same maker's mark.
