oin silver beaker by John McFarlane, Salem and Boston, Massachusetts (c. 1800-1810, 3 3/8" tall to top of lip, 2 3/4" diameter at rim, 2 1/8" at base, barrel shaped body tapered on bottom with incised rim, applied band of stars in circles around base, fancy feather script monogram "E W E" on front, marked underneath "J.McFARLANE" in serrated rectangular punch (mark in Belden).
