A Eugene Kupjack signed Kupjack Miniature Silver Shop. Designed in the style of an 18th century Shop that is a perfect cabinet for displaying silver miniatures. A beautiful pair of vases by Davenport, date mark of 1870 to 1886. The handpainted flowers are exquisite. Some excellent, highly skilled painters worked for Davenport and these vases must have painted by one of them! Each vase has a different floral bouquet on each side. The top and base are also handpainted with gilt design. The vases are 14 1/2" tall. The mark is red with crown. There is one repair on the base of one vase. I know...it's probably really an ashtray but I think it would be a great spoon rest. It's Irish Belleek, with mark that indicates it was made between 1965 and 1981. Pattern is Three Three Leaf Clover Sprigs with ivory and pale yellow background. Shape is a horseshoe. Measures 4 1/2" long by 3 7/8" at widest part. Excellent condition..no flaws.
