Late 19th Century framed diorama of the Ship Erie. Painted wooden ship and sails on a painted board background. The background looks to be near the coast and has other ships in the background. 11 1/2" x 15 1/2" in a mahogany frame with gilt edging.

Frank Wood (1851-1933) Early 20th century framed and relief carved wooden plaque of six different species of whales. Each whale is painted and has a whale ivory nameplate below it. The plaque represents the six species of whales that were mostly hunted for their whale oil.
