This a fabulous folk carving of Jefferson Davis. It is carved from wood and painted. The entire figure is fully jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees. He was US Senator who became the President of the Confederacy. He is known to have mishandled the war and commited treason.
