Syracuse Royal Rochester oval casserole with lid, 9 x 6 in., with platinum trim, c. 1930s. Royal Rochester was a tradename used by the Robeson Rochester Corp., which made metal casserole stands, trays, etc. The platinum trim on the casserole is worn and there are a few dark spots inside from use, but no real damage.
