Gien Porcelain small pitcher, 5 1/2 in. height, decorated with metallic gold and black silhouette design and metallic gold trim, made in France c. 1970s-90s. The shepherdess and nobleman romance has been a popular theme dating back to the Renaissance. Pitcher has a very small glazed over nick on the rim (production flaw) and minor wear to the gold on the handle.
Earthenware pottery large creamer or small pitcher, 5 in. height, hand-painted with red, blue, yellow and green floral design, made in France. Pattern similar to Blue Ridge 'Mardi Gras'. Pitcher has an undecipherable raised mark on the bottom, the number 4157-1, and Peint a la main. Very good condition.
