Gien Porcelain small pitcher, 5 1/2 in. height, decorated with metallic gold and black silhouette design and metallic gold trim, made in France c. 1970s-90s. The shepherdess and nobleman romance has been a popular theme dating back to the Renaissance. Pitcher has a very small glazed over nick on the rim (production flaw) and minor wear to the gold on the handle.
