Ceramic souvenir plate, 10 in., from the Grotto and Shrine at Dickeyville WI. Construction began in the 1930s, but this plate probably dates from the 1960s+, and may have been a restoration fundraiser. As one of the largest folk art installations in the US, this shrine is a testament to community and the Catholic faith. Very good condition.
