This cream and open sugar was manufactured by the F&F Mold & Die Company and were issued as a premium by Quaker Oats in the 1940's. They are yellow hard plastic, with figural handles representing Aunt Jemima & Uncle Mose. This is a complete set of 6 hard plastic Aunt Jemima Spice Containers. They were manufactured by the F&F Mold & Die Company and were issued as a premium by Quaker Oats in the 1940's. They all have black skin tone with white aprons and kerchiefs painted on a red plastic base. The name of the spice is written in script across each apron - paprika, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg and cloves. They are in very good condition overall. This is an actual store display for Presto cookers and canners. It was manufactured by National Presto Industries, Inc, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and distributed by the Allison-Erwin Company of Charlotte, North Carolina. This case was originally sold to F.E. Biggerstaff of Bostic N.C., as there is a brochure addressed to Biggerstaff dated January 4, 1955 which includes the parts prices for that year. This sign is originally from a filling station. It is two-sided porcelain and reads "HI-SPEED" on both sides. It measures 90" by 42". From what little information I can gather, Hi-Speed was the brand of gasoline used in Arthur Hickock's service stations. The stations seemed to be in existence between 1917 and 1945. This glass jar bears the "Monarch Peanut Butter" label. Monarch Peanut Butter was made by Reid, Murdoch and Co, in Chicago Illinois, dating all the way back to 1853. This jar dates around 1926. It held 1 lb 8 oz of peanut butter. The glass jar is 6 sided. It is marked Reid Murdoch and Co on the bottom, and has the original zinc Ball cap.
