This is a wonderful ceramic child's warming and feeding dish. It was manufactured in 1958 and is marked "Holt Howard". It has a dog shape - and actually looks a lot like Lady from Lady and the Tramp. The dish has a hollow center and a hole where the dog's tail should be. In order to keep the food warm, you would pour hot water in the hole and cork it shut. The cork is missing. There is also some crackling - especially on the tray area. Otherwise, this dish is in great shape...

This beautiful signed print is by Larry Hayden. I believe it is called "Mallards" and it is number 12170 of 16500 prints created. It is a larger version of the 1981 Texas State Waterfowl Stamp issued by the Texas Park and Wildlife Dept. 1981 is the first year Texas issued Waterfowl stamps. An official, unused stamp (#215223) is also included. The print and stamp are in excellent condition. They were professionally framed by Old World Gallery...

Brad Keeler was a California artist who, in 1939, began creating "naturalistic studies" of birds and animals. These creations were then sold though gift stores. Keeler is best known for his decorating techniques whereby he first applied color with an airbrush, then hand-painted other details to enhance the figurines. Sadly, Keeler died suddenly in 1952. His pottery closed shortly thereafter. This blue jay was created in the mid 1940's. It stands 9.25" tall and is about 6.75" long...

This pair of Spaniels was made in the Staffordshire district of England. A great number of potteries have made Staffordshire their home since the early eighteenth century. These potteries created figurines which were often made in pairs that mirrored one another; dogs were a favorite. The figurines were most often only decorated on the front as they were meant to be displayed against a wall (sometimes called "flat backs"). Each dog in this pair measures 6" wide, 2.25" deep and stands 7" tall...
