This is a an absolutely beautiful centerpiece bowl designed by Frederick Carder and manufactured by Steuben Glass Works around 1932. The pattern is called "Grotesque" and is number 7537. This pattern is characterized by a ruffled, flared rim and vertical ribbing up each of the 4 sides. It is clear leaded glass. It measures 12.5" long, 7" wide and is just over 6" tall. This beautiful piece is called a Tazza (a shallow saucer-like dish mounted on a stem and/or foot). The inside of the dish has a hand painted floral design. The base is marked with the Pairpoint mark (P in diamond) and is signed by P. Kiluk. The code D93 is also marked on the base (see photo). It is in excellent condition, with just a couple of hand painted dots showing wear (see photo). It measures 5-3/4" in diameter and is 4-1/4" tall.

Vaseline glass is defined by the Vaseline Glass Collectors, Inc, as a "transparent, yellow-green glass that will fluoresce a bright green color when exposed to any ultraviolet light source..." This beautiful set consists of a pitcher and 5 tumblers. The pitcher has 36 vertical ribs and an applied amber handle. It measures 7.5" tall and is 8.5" at the widest (across handle). This beautiful figurine was made in France by Baccarat. It is part of the Baccarat Holiday Collection. It is hand-crafted from full lead crystal. It is called "Thinking of You" and depicts a cherub, or angel lying on it's stomach. It measures 2 3/8 high and 4 3/8 long. It is marked on the base (see photo). It is in excellent condition with no damage. It has a list price of $210 - and I believe that it is still in production.

FOVAL (which derived its name from Fry OVenglass Art Line) was produced by the H.C. Fry Glass Co. of Rochester, Pennsylvania. The beautiful "pearl" blue was achieved by using aluminum oxide - differing the amount of aluminum oxide allowed for varied opacity. Some FOVAL items were trimmed with green or blue details. The Mt. Washington Glass Company has been making quality glass products since 1874. This style of shaker (called the "egg flat end") was first patented in 1889. The white satin glass is hand decorated with beautiful pansies. The shaker stands about 2 1/2" tall (with lid) and is about 2" at its widest. It has the original lid which can be removed with ease. There is no damage of any kind to this shaker. It is unmarked.

Burmese glass was patented by the Mount Washington Glass Company in the late 1800's. Typically, burmese glass can be identified by the pale yellow to pink blush blend of color. It may be classified as either shiny or satin. This bell has a satin finish. It measures 4" in diameter across the ruffled base and stands 5 3/4" to the top of the applied handle. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.

This striking vase was designed by master sandcarver Michael Yates of the Fenton Glass Company. It is a limited edition - number 108 of 850. This beautiful bowl was created by applying one or more layers of glass over a base color. A pattern was then cut through, exposing the base color. With this particular bowl, a 3/16" layer of white glass was applied to a 1/4" orange-red base. Thumbprint shaped areas were then cut away in three rows to expose the orange-red base color.
