Since their inception in 1815, the Doulton Company has produced a variety of wares ranging from commercial wares to hand-decorated fine artware. In 1908 they began producing a limited edition annual Christmas plate. Each Christmas plate measures 7 1/4" and is decorated with a blue and white scene. This plate is marked (see photograph). It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. We also have the Royal Doulton annual plates from 1951 and 1961. See our home page for details

This beautiful plate was made in England by Wedgwood. Apparently Wedgwood was commissioned by The Massachusetts Institute of Technology to make this set of 12 plates, depicting 12 different buildings (on campus) of historical significance. The building is at the center of each plate, surrounded by flowers and leaves. They are all blue in color. This beautiful portrait plate features a woman wearing a Victorian hat with feathers and ribbons. This portrait is a transfer print. The portrait is signed "Gainsborough, Jan Peters, Amsterdam Holland". The rim of the plate is a transfer print in a floral pattern with gold trim. This plate is marked (see photo). We do not know the age of the plate, but the wear on the bottom indicates that it is old. It measures 7 3/4" and is in mint condition.

This beautiful souvenir collector plate depicts Niagara Falls. This piece is marked. It was made of semi vitreous porcelain by the WM. Brunt Pottery Company in East Liverpool Ohio, sometime prior to 1910. This company was only in business from 1848 to 1911. The bottom of the plate is an advertisement for "A. J.
