These 2 beautiful tumblers were manufactured by Mt Washington. In 1885, Mt Washington Glass developed what they called "Burmese" glass. It is described as a translucent glass that is shaded from a yellow at the base to a coral or salmon pink at the top. This is a very lovely powder jar. It is called "Rapunzel" or "Bubble Lady". The finial is of a nude, kneeling woman with arms outstretched holding what looks like a string of bubbles or very long, curly hair that is pooling at her knees. This piece is marked "Dermay INC, Fifth Avenue, New York" and has the number 973 on the base. It is a very pretty blue in color with a satin finish. It is 5.75" tall overall with a 4.5" diameter. The bowl is 4-footed and stands just over 2.25" tall...

This is a an absolutely beautiful centerpiece bowl designed by Frederick Carder and manufactured by Steuben Glass Works around 1932. The pattern is called "Grotesque" and is number 7537. This pattern is characterized by a ruffled, flared rim and vertical ribbing up each of the 4 sides. It is clear leaded glass. It measures 12.5" long, 7" wide and is just over 6" tall. It is signed on the base with a script signature. The bowl is in excellent condition...

Dianthus (vase with flowers) is a still life which was created by Elyse Ashe Lord around 1920. Lord (1900-1971) was often characterized as a British Orientalist, as she specialized in far eastern subjects. She was a highly respected artist with accolades which include election to the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolors, and a member of the Society of Graver-Printers in Color. This beautiful piece is called a Tazza (a shallow saucer-like dish mounted on a stem and/or foot). The inside of the dish has a hand painted floral design. The base is marked with the Pairpoint mark (P in diamond) and is signed by P. Kiluk. The code D93 is also marked on the base (see photo). It is in excellent condition, with just a couple of hand painted dots showing wear (see photo). It measures 5-3/4" in diameter and is 4-1/4" tall.

This beautiful figurine was made in France by Baccarat. It is part of the Baccarat Holiday Collection. It is hand-crafted from full lead crystal. It is called "Thinking of You" and depicts a cherub, or angel lying on it's stomach. It measures 2 3/8 high and 4 3/8 long. It is marked on the base (see photo). It is in excellent condition with no damage. It has a list price of $210 - and I believe that it is still in production.

FOVAL (which derived its name from Fry OVenglass Art Line) was produced by the H.C. Fry Glass Co. of Rochester, Pennsylvania. The beautiful "pearl" blue was achieved by using aluminum oxide - differing the amount of aluminum oxide allowed for varied opacity. Some FOVAL items were trimmed with green or blue details. All Fry Art Glass pieces were hand blown and fire polished, with the pontils polished out...

The Mt. Washington Glass Company has been making quality glass products since 1874. This style of shaker (called the "egg flat end") was first patented in 1889. The white satin glass is hand decorated with beautiful pansies. The shaker stands about 2 1/2" tall (with lid) and is about 2" at its widest. It has the original lid which can be removed with ease. There is no damage of any kind to this shaker. It is unmarked.

Burmese glass was patented by the Mount Washington Glass Company in the late 1800's. Typically, burmese glass can be identified by the pale yellow to pink blush blend of color. It may be classified as either shiny or satin. This bell has a satin finish. It measures 4" in diameter across the ruffled base and stands 5 3/4" to the top of the applied handle. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.

This beautiful vase is signed "Moser". It is ruby in color with raised enamel flowers and gilded details. It stands just 4" tall and is 2.5" at the widest. It is in excellent condition with no damage and only minimal gold loss at the rim.

This 4-fluted vase was made by The Rookwood Pottery Company. The Company was operational from 1879-1967. This piece was made in 1950, as indicated by the "L" under the Rookwood mark on the base.
