This is an adorable cartoon type cat and mouse bank. While it is often attributed to Holt Howard, it was actually manufactured in the 1950's by Lego. It is in the shape of a red and yellow drum. On top of the drum sits a cat who is holding a mouse by the tail. Inside of the drum sits another mouse. The piece is all ceramic with plastic separating the top and bottom of the drum. It comes with the original rubber stopper and gold thread (between the top and bottom of the drum)...

These amusing teapots were made by Fitz & Floyd. They are 3 of 6 in a collection called "Birdbrains" that were manufactured in 2000. Each was released in a limited edition of 7500. They are all new in the box, and in mint condition. We have Queen Elizabird, Robin Hood (652/7500), and Calamity Crane (1024/7500). Vincent Van Crow is sold.

Although the Little Red Riding Hood line (1943-1957) is attributed to the A E Hull Pottery Company, most of the the line was actually produced by Regal China. Hull developed and patented the idea, then sent many of the white ware items to Regal for decoration. Pieces in the line were apparently marked with different marks, depending on the manufacturer. This butter dish is marked with the "Pat. Des. No. 135889" mark (see photo). It measures 6 3/4" long, 4 3/4" wide and 6" high...

These bisque shakers were manufactured by Walt Disney Productions in 1961. Mickey Mouse, dressed in a pink top and blue trousers, stands on a yellow crate. Minnie is adorned in a yellow dress and pink shoes with a red and white bow in her hair. She sits on a stack of two light blue crates. Each crate is labeled - MICKEY MOUSE on his, and MINNIE MOUSE on hers. The bottom of each shaker is also labeled "Walt Disney Productions" and "WD-52"...

This recipe box was manufactured by Fosta Products in the 1950's. It is red hard plastic with a large mammy or Aunt Jemima face on the front, and the word "recipes" written on the top in black block letters. It measures 3.5" high, 5.25" long and 3" wide. It is completely FULL of recipes (probably from the same era). It is in very good condition. There top of the lid is slightly faded in color, and the letters "p" and "e" (in recipe) are partly worn...
