This happy couple was hand made in Spain by Lladro. It is called "Wedding Day" and was first introduced in 1985 and retired in 1999. It is number 5274 and is part of the "Black Legacy Collection". As the name would indicate, it depicts a bride and groom on their wedding day. The bride is wearing a beautiful white gown covered in flowers and a full length white veil and carries a bouquet of white flowers with pink centers. This amazing flower frog was made by the Weller Pottery Company. It is called Muskota Ware and dates from 1915 - 1928. This particular piece is called "Leda and the Swan". According to Greek mythology, Leda was approached by the god Zeus while he was masquerading as a swan. Zeus made love to Leda in this form, and Helen of Troy was born out of the union. The memorable union between Leda and the Swan has long been immortalized by artisans and also greatly influenced mythology.

This glamor girl is a rare find in this size and condition! She is wearing a green dress accessorized with a brooch consisting of 4 leaves and 3 pearls. She is also wearing a pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings. She was made in the 1950's by Napcoware. 2 original paper labels can still be found on the base, along side the number C7474. This piece measures 8 1/2" in height, and 4 3/4" wide (across the shoulders). It is in excellent condition.

This incredible Staffordshire poodle dates pre-1900. It has applied "fur" and hand painted face and collar. It measures 3 5/8 inches tall and 2" wide. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. This piece is unmarked.
