"Huggers" are salt and pepper shakers which were designed to pick up together (with one hand) and simultaneously dispense both spices without fear of dropping either shaker. This ingenious design was originally created around 1947 by Ruth Van Tellingen Bendel, and produced by the Regal China Company.
