This rare and interesting device is called a Dust Bellows. It was used in the 1800's to apply small puffs of air in order to dust off surfaces. The main shaft appears to be a single hollowed out piece of wood. It is carved on the side - displaying flowers, stars, an eagle, a banner, and borders around each end. Above the banner it reads "Aug Kraushaar's United States Trade-Mark No 39301". Within the banner it reads" Universal Dust Bellows". It is in great shape, ...click for details
