In 1865, John and Charles Arbuckle patented a process for roasting and coating coffee beans. Their coffee became an instant success not only because of the quality of the product, but because of their ingenious marketing strategies. First, each bag of their coffee contained a peppermint stick. Next, the Arbuckle Brothers printed coupons on the back of the bags. This art deco televiewer was used to view stereo view cards. It was manufactured by The Keystone View Company with patent date Dec 20, 1927. It is metal with a square hood, and has a detachable card holder. Apparently, the televiewer was also available with a detachable light and stand - this televiewer does NOT have either of these items.
