Price Pottery was founded in the late 1800's by two brothers in Burslem, England. They were forced into liquidation in the 1930's and were subsequently bought by Gerald Wood. In the early 1960's Mr. Wood merged Price Pottery with another pottery company that he owned called Kensington Pottery Ltd and the Price & Kensington Pottery Company was born. This company is known mostly for their novelty teapots.
