Frankoma Pottery (originally Frank Potteries) was founded in Oklahoma by John Nathaniel Frank, a university ceramics art teacher and his wife Grace. The Franks, a devoutly religious couple, issued their first Christmas plate in 1965, promising a series of annual plates bearing religious themes in Della Robbia white. We have 8 plates still available for sale. Each measures 8.25" in diameter and is marked "Frankoma" and bears the "John Frank" signature...

These plates are from a series of scenic plates produced in the 1980's and 90's by Poole Pottery. Each measures 6" and depicts a different brightly colored Bavarian scene. The back of each plate is marked with the Poole Pottery logo as well as the plate and scene number. All 5 are in excellent condition with no damage. We have 435 Scene V, 434 Scene IV, 432 Scene II, 431 Scene I, and 437 Scene VII.

This is the first edition 1971 Hummel Christmas plate. The 1971 Hummel Plate was issued in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of W. Goebel Porzellanfarik. The plate is called "Heavenly Angel" and depicts an angel holding a candle. There is a shooting star on one side of the angel, and 2 spruce trees on the other. The plate measures 7.5" and is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. It comes in a wooden display ring...

This beautiful plate was manufactured by Johnson Brothers. The pattern is "Andarra", or "Andorra" and is characterized by a scalloped edge and the flow blue scrolls and flowers accented with gold trim. This plate measures 8 7/8" in diameter. It is marked on the back (see photo). It is in excellent condition with very minor wear to the gold, and minimal utensil marks.

In 1908 they began producing a limited edition annual Christmas plate. Each Christmas plate measures 7 1/4" and is decorated with a blue and white scene. This plate is marked (see photograph). It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind. We also have the Royal Copenhagen annual plates from 1951 and 1961...

This beautiful plate was made in England by Wedgwood. Apparently Wedgwood was commissioned by The Massachusetts Institute of Technology to make this set of 12 plates, depicting 12 different buildings (on campus) of historical significance. The building is at the center of each plate, surrounded by flowers and leaves. They are all blue in color. They are each marked with the "Wedgwood" mark, as well as the name of the building shown, and the year 1930...
