This is a set of 6 lovely cut glass stems which were manufactured by Hawkes. The pattern is called Delft Diamond. It has diamond cuts on the bowl and a round base. The stem has 6 circular cuts, then 6 more oval cuts on the "ball" between the stem and bowl. They are either wine or sherry glasses. They measure just over 5.375" tall and have a 2.375" diameter at the rim. All 6 of the glasses are marked with the acid etched "HAWKES" on the top of the foot...

This is a an absolutely beautiful centerpiece bowl designed by Frederick Carder and manufactured by Steuben Glass Works around 1932. The pattern is called "Grotesque" and is number 7537. This pattern is characterized by a ruffled, flared rim and vertical ribbing up each of the 4 sides. It is clear leaded glass. It measures 12.5" long, 7" wide and is just over 6" tall. It is signed on the base with a script signature. The bowl is in excellent condition...

This wonderful crystal paperweight is in the shape of a hedgehog. The eyes and quills are etched in the glass. It was designed by Vicke Lindstrand and manufactured in Sweden by Kosta. It is signed " Kosta 98229" on the base. It measures 2.75" long 2.25" wide and is 2" tall. It is in excellent condition with no damage.

These wine glasses were manufactured by the Tiffin Glass Company. The pattern is called Rambler Rose and was produced from 1930-1967. The bowl is sectioned into a number of vertical panels. There is a 1/2" gold encrusted band with a floral design at the rim of each glass. Below that band is another very thin gold band. Each glass measures 4.5" high and has a 2.25" diameter at the rim. The gold on the glasses shows some wear, but otherwise they are in excellent condition...

This beautiful glass is for shrimp cocktail. Both the glass and the insert/liner are a very nice yellowish amber in color. The glass is to be filled with ice in order to keep the shrimp-filled insert chilled. The base of the glass has an up-turned lip that measures about 3/8" (for the discarded shrimp tails). The stem is actually a 4 piece knot, which measures about 1.5" in diameter. The rim of the glass has a 4" diameter. The rim of the liner is 4.75", and the liner is about 1.875" deep...

This set of glasses was presented to a United States Naval Captain by a Portuguese Naval Captain in 1954. Each is etched on the side with "Marinha de Guerra Portuguesa" as well as the Portuguese Navy seal surrounded by sprigs. They are footed shot glasses. Each has a 1.5" diameter at the rim and stands 2.25" tall. The glass tapers out slightly from the rim for about 5/8 inch, then tapers back in to the foot.
