Blue Ridge dinnerware was manufactured in Erwin Tennessee by Southern Potteries Inc. It was produced from the 1930s to 1956, and came in a number of different styles and patterns. All pieces were hand painted underglaze. This plate is in the Christmas Tree line. It depicts a decorated tree complete with presents. This beautiful tureen was made by Burgess & Leigh in Burslem, England. I do not know the name of the pattern, but it is spectacular! The colors in the transfer pattern are amazing. There are gray borders with gold flowers, cobalt borders with gold and white geometric shapes, arches made of blue and burgundy flowers and green leaves, and a variety of fleur de lis shapes of white, gray, cobalt and burgundy colors. These crescent shaped dishes are called bone dishes. They were made by Royal Staffordshire in the "Tonquin" pattern, which was designed by Clarice Cliff in the 1930's. This set consists of 1 pink, 1 brown, 1 blue and 1 mulberry dish. Each dish measures 6.5" by 3" and has a slightly scalloped edge. They are all in excellent condition.

Cosmos, or Stemless Daisy, is a patterned glassware most identified by pastel flowers on a cross-hatched background of milk glass. The Consolidated Glass Company only made this line from 1894 - 1915. This butter dish measures 8" wide and is 5.5" tall. I do not see any damage of any kind. There are 2 "straw marks" on the underside of the plate (see photos) made during the manufacturing process...

This bowl was made by the Homer Laughlin China Company and is in the popular Fiesta line. The Fiesta line was first introduced in 1936 in 6 original colors. The mixing bowls were only produced in these original 6 colors since they were only produced from 1936 to 1943. They were produced in 7 sizes ranging from 5" to 11.5". Each bowl is marked on the bottom, with #1 being the smallest, and this (#7) being the largest. This #7 bowl is considered by collectors to be a "hard to find" item...

This wonderful cup and saucer were made in England by the Johnson Brothers. The pattern is called "Fish" and was only manufactured from 1955-1976. As the pattern name would indicate, the design shows various fish on a cream background. The cup measures 2.75" high and has a 3.25" diameter at the rim. The saucer measures 5.75" in diameter. The cup is marked "Made in England", while the saucer the Johnson Brothers mark (see photo). Both pieces are in excellent condition with no damage.

This dinner plate was manufactured by Johnson Brothers, England. It is in the "Wild Turkeys, Native American" line which was manufactured from 1951 to 1974. Each plate is hand engraved with all decoration being under the glaze. We have 4 of these plates available. Each measures 10.75" in diameter and is marked on the back (see photo). All 4 plates are in excellent condition with no apparent damage, utensil marks or crazing.
