This bowl was made in 1915 by Weller. The pattern is called "Orris". It has a matte green finish over a red clay base. It looks like the green glaze was rubbed before firing, allowing the floral motif to show through. This bowl measures 2.5" high and is 6.75" wide. It has 4 feet. The Orris line is unmarked, although the bottom of this bowl has been painted gray and does have a signature as well as the number 44. It is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.

This is a beautiful jardiniere by Weller. It has a squirrel and acorn motif with leaves, nuts and branches all around the 2 squirrels. It is in a blended high gloss glaze of browns, and greens. This design is often seen in the Clinton Ivory line, but is much rarer in the blended glaze finish. The Jardiniere measures nearly 9" in diameter and is about 7.25 " high. This beautiful majolica plate was made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England. It is in the shape of a cabbage leaf with a basketweave background showing through at the edges. We have 2 of these beautiful majolica comports. They were made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, England. This is a beautiful vase manufactured by the Van Briggle Art Pottery Company. It is actually a hand thrown piece - where most of there current day pieces are molded. This piece is turquoise in color (I believe Van Briggle references it as Ming Blue) and it gets more blue toward the top. You can see the "ribs" or rings that occured when this vase was hand thrown on the wheel. It also has hand applied flowers and scrolls on 2 sides. These bone dishes are in the popular "Tea Leaf" pattern. The Tea Leaf pattern became popular in the 1880's. Apparently, housewives became bored with the plain white stoneware that was available, so they sought the hand-painted copper luster pattern of bands and leaves originally created by Anthony Shaw. This pair of Spaniels was made in the Staffordshire district of England. A great number of potteries have made Staffordshire their home since the early eighteenth century. In 1952 the Roseville Pottery Company manufactured a line of pottery called "Raymor". It was designed by Ben Seibel and was marketed as "modern stoneware". It came in 5 different colors which were meant to be mixed and matched. This water pitcher is in the Beach Gray color. It stands 10" high. It has very modern lines and comes with an ice lip. It is marked on the base with the Roseville and Raymor marks, as well as the number 189. It is in excellent condition with no damage.

This cereal bowl was made by the Roseville Pottery Company. It is in the "Juvenile" pattern which was made around 1920. The Juvenile pattern depicts many different characters and figures. These beautiful candlesticks were made by the Roseville Pottery Company. Since records were not meticulously taken early on, and most of the early pieces of Roseville were not marked, little seems to be known about these candlesticks.
