This amazing wedding or bride's basket dates back to 1893. It was made by William Rogers, Hartford Connecticut, and is marked with pattern number 975. It is engraved "Compliments of Theta Delta Chi (with emblem), Tau Deuteron, Jan 23, 1893" on the inside of the basket. This beautiful ornament was manufactured by Wallace Silversmiths. Wallace has created an annual candy cane ornament since 1981. This particular cane is called "Clover Cane" and dates to 1984. It comes new in the box with the original ribbon and protective sleeve (for storage). We have 3 identical candy canes available. They measure about 4.5" long (without ribbon). They are marked on the back as you can see in the 3rd photo. All 3 are in excellent condition. The price is per piece.
