This lovely plate and syrup dispenser were manufactured by Crown Ducal. Crown Ducal is the name used on many pieces that were actually manufactured by A.G. Richardson and Co, England, and has been around since 1916. They are best known for their chintz patterns. This is an excellent example of their work. This is a wonderful ceramic child's warming and feeding dish. It was manufactured in 1958 and is marked "Holt Howard". It has a dog shape - and actually looks a lot like Lady from Lady and the Tramp. The dish has a hollow center and a hole where the dog's tail should be. In order to keep the food warm, you would pour hot water in the hole and cork it shut. The cork is missing. There is also some crackling - especially on the tray area. Otherwise, this dish is in great shape...

This nice teapot was manufactured by Meissen. It is in the Blue Onion pattern with amazing cobalt flowers and vines. It is actually quite small, measuring just 4 7/8" tall (at it's highest point), and 7" across (including handle and spout). I believe it is called a "mini teapot". It is marked with the crossed sword Meissen mark (see photo). There is no damage of any kind - other than the fact that the lid is not the correct lid for the Blue Onion pattern.
