This rare vase was made ca 1950 by Fenton for Weil Ceramics and was not part of the regular Fenton line. All Fenton Aqua Crest pieces are considered "hard to find items" as there was a very limited production date, but this piece is considered rare. It is the largest piece of Aqua Crest I have ever seen - standing 11 inches tall and measuring a full 8 inches across the pale blue double crimped top. It is unmarked, and in excellent condition.

This amazing syrup was manufactured by Model Flint Glass Works of Albany Indiana. The design is attributed to John F. Miller. According to "Victorian Colored Pattern Glass" by Heacock and Gamble it was only produced between 1901 and 1902 in a very limited quantity. The pattern is called collared reverse swirl. From the handle on down to the bottom of the syrup, there are 1/2" bands or ribs that angle down and to the right. The opalescent strips swirl in the reverse direction of those bands....

This striking vase was designed by master sandcarver Michael Yates of the Fenton Glass Company. It is a limited edition - number 108 of 850. It is part of the Connoisseur Collection that Fenton introduced in 1983. The Connoisseur Collection strived for the unique - such as cased glass, iridized glass, and sandcarving. The company's intent was to develop more "collectible" items, thus relatively few items were made in this line. Connoisseur Collection pieces were typically offered as numbere...

This beautiful piece was made by Royal Bayreuth before 1920. Royal Bayreuth was founded in Tettau, Bavaria, in 1794. While the factory has continued to modern times, the marks have changed through the years. A stylized crest, the name Royal Bayreuth, and the word Bavaria appear in slightly different forms from 1870 to about 1919. Later marks include the words U.S. Zone, the year of the issue, or the word Germany instead of Bavaria. This creamer depicts five sheep in a snow covered terrain. ...

This Calyx ware place setting was manufactured by Adams (a member of the Wedgwood Group) between 1970 and 1979. It is characterized by brown birds, white flowers and a celadon body. Celadon glazes can be produced in a variety of colors depending on the thickness of the applied glaze and the type of clay to which it is applied. However, the most famous celadons range in color from a very pale green crackle to deep intense green. The color was believed to mimic the green shades of jade. These...
