This is an adorable cartoon type cat and mouse bank. While it is often attributed to Holt Howard, it was actually manufactured in the 1950's by Lego. It is in the shape of a red and yellow drum. On top of the drum sits a cat who is holding a mouse by the tail. Inside of the drum sits another mouse. The piece is all ceramic with plastic separating the top and bottom of the drum. It comes with the original rubber stopper and gold thread (between the top and bottom of the drum)...

This is a wonderful ceramic child's warming and feeding dish. It was manufactured in 1958 and is marked "Holt Howard". It has a dog shape - and actually looks a lot like Lady from Lady and the Tramp. The dish has a hollow center and a hole where the dog's tail should be. In order to keep the food warm, you would pour hot water in the hole and cork it shut. The cork is missing. There is also some crackling - especially on the tray area. Otherwise, this dish is in great shape...

In 1978 Kenner introduced "Darci" and friends in order to compete with Barbie. In their attempt to set her apart, Kenner opted to make Darci different - she was 12 1/2" tall with a fully poseable body and 3 distinct hair colors. She was marketed as a real "cover girl", complete with several designer outfits, a fashion studio, and her own line of perfume. Sadly, despite Kenner's efforts, Darci could not compete with Barbi, and production was stopped shortly after it started. This Darci is an i...

In 1934, Richard Glasser, from Erzgebirge Seiffen, began creating vintage wooden Christmas products. The production was based on traditional Seiffen wood turned figurines and ornaments. Glasser often used miners, and angels in his designs, as well as figures he crafted from famous Christmas stories, and fairy tales. The Glasser Christmas pyramids and advent houses are probably the most famous pyramids from the German Erzgebirge - it is estimated that today Richard Glasser offers about 200 diff...
