These beautiful candlesticks were made by the Roseville Pottery Company. Since records were not meticulously taken early on, and most of the early pieces of Roseville were not marked, little seems to be known about these candlesticks. They can be found in most Roseville Pottery books. They are called "Decorated and Gold Traced", and are said to have been produced before 1916. They are considered rare...

This nice teapot was manufactured by Meissen. It is in the Blue Onion pattern with amazing cobalt flowers and vines. It is actually quite small, measuring just 4 7/8" tall (at it's highest point), and 7" across (including handle and spout). I believe it is called a "mini teapot". It is marked with the crossed sword Meissen mark (see photo). There is no damage of any kind - other than the fact that the lid is not the correct lid for the Blue Onion pattern.

This tea set has 5 immortals and a geisha. It consists of 6 plates, 5 cups, 6 saucers, sugar (with lid), creamer, and teapot. Each c...

FOVAL (which derived its name from Fry OVenglass Art Line) was produced by the H.C. Fry Glass Co. of Rochester, Pennsylvania. The beautiful "pearl" blue was achieved by using aluminum oxide - differing the amount of aluminum oxide allowed for varied opacity. Some FOVAL items were trimmed with green or blue details. All Fry Art Glass pieces were hand blown and fire polished, with the pontils polished out. This was a very costly process, which is most likely why the FOVAL line was produced for...
