Keystone View Co. Stereographic Library Televiewer
$75.00
This art deco televiewer was used to view stereo view cards. It was manufactured by The Keystone View Company with patent date Dec 20, 1927. It is metal with a square hood, and has a detachable card holder. Apparently, the televiewer was also available with a detachable light and stand - this televiewer does NOT have either of these items. It is creatively packaged in a box shaped like a 2-volume set of books. The Keystone View Company sold these televiewers and sets of view cards door-to-door which allowed the viewer to experience the world from the comforts of their own living room. We also have the 2-volume set of stereoview cards called "Scandinavia" as well as the 2-volume set called "Tour of the World" available.
